The Awards ceremony and dinner for the prestigious Yorkshire PA of the Year Awards, sponsored by Lucy Walker Recruitment, were held on Thursday 22nd June 2017.
Over 300 Teams and individuals from across Yorkshire celebrated some outstanding personal and collective achievements, as the 14 categories were announced, including the highly coveted title of ‘Yorkshire PA of the Year’ Award. The awards were held at The Pavilion, Leeds United Football Ground and were headlined by James Bailey, General Manager of Victoria Leeds and BBC Look North’s, Tanya Arnold.
Claire Barrett of Deloitte LLP, who Lucy Walker Recruitment placed in her current role, took the coveted title of ‘Yorkshire PA of the Year’. This is an accolade which showcases the precision, organisation and motivation for ensuring a business doesn’t just function, but it is nurtured to grow from the root up. The award was presented to Claire by Natalie Walker and Stephanie Rae of Lucy Walker Recruitment.

Runner Up in the Yorkshire PA Of The Year Award category was Kerry Dawson of Leeds Beckett University.
Other Winners on the night were Jennifer Purcell (York Members Member), Rachel McPartlin (Best Organised Event), Gill Walker (Yorkshire PA lifetime achievement), Paul Bone/Mark Lennon (Best Boss), Arup Group (Best Team of PAs), Leeds Beckett University (Best Internal PA Network), University of Huddersfield (Employer of The Year), Gemma Walton (PA in Business Award), Clare Guymer (Best Business Client), Jill Ambrazaitis (PA Contribution to the Community), Caroline Evans (Rising Star Award) and Kerry Dawson (Social Media PA of The Year)
